Scott Groves Story

Scott Groves has fast become one of the most influential business growth experts when it comes to the mindset, sales and marketing conversion strategies and techniques.

Scott has invested over 15 years into learning about the inner workings of the human mind in a variety of fields. Beginning with one of the first books "The Inner Game of Tennis" when he was 15 y.o. he found a sweetspot for how the subconscious mind works.

Applying this knowledge to two areas - his tennis business that he began at 17y.o. whilst still in high school and to his personal tennis playing as he pursued a career on the professional circuit.

But it was in promoting his tennis business that he discovered through his own trial and error the power of words and personality when it came to marketing.

This lead to a tennis coaching business that funded his tennis travel and he struggled through qualifying to make 'Main Draw' entry. Scott fell one match shy of his world ranking and when he tore his shoulder for the second time he pursued his business interests.

Moving to Gladstone, Central Queensland in 1998, Scott moved in with his new girlfriend (Lisa). He began working for her brother who owned a nightclub and implemented a creative marketing solution that saw his club dominate the local market (hear the audio story of this inside the members area).

Shortly afterward, Scott and Lisa moved to the Gold Coast to pursue their personal passions - this is where Scott found direct sales.

He began working on commission only, selling security systems. With his infectious enthusiasm and genuine caring nature he outsold all agents to become 'SalesPerson of the Month' in his very first month. In doing so, he broke the company record for 'Highest Weekly Commission' AND 'Most Sales in a Month'.

But just like his tennis coaching, Scott also had a knack for teaching sales.

Within a few short years, Scott had transfered to the International parent company, Niagara Therapy, and became the Australasian Training and Development Manager.

Tripling his income in less than 18 months he went on to re-write the sales training programs and introduce personal development training built on the companies strong direct sales philosphies.

These philosophies still influence Scott today.

In an attempt to restructure, Niagara offered Scott a new role in 2001, and Scott walked away from a 6-figure income, with his now wife Lisa and young daughter Annabel to start Dream Maker Enterprises on July 4, 2001.

With no leads, no contacts, no products, Scott began building his ideal company.

Today Scott is one of the most respected trainers, speakers and advisors. He has written 6 books, numerous articles and special reports. He has been featured on many National Radio shows and written up in numerous magazines and newspapers.
